Justin Bieber's next court hearing for his assault charge for hitting a limousine driver has been set for 12 May, court officials have confirmed.
The Canadian singer has been accused of striking the driver "several times" on the back of the head, according to Toronto police.
Bieber did not appear in court himself at the routine pre-trial hearing on Monday, where the new date was decided.
He was represented by his lawyers in the short meeting.
Last month, waiting fans were disappointed when he did not appear at a scheduled hearing, however this time there were not the same crowds.
The date of the actual trial has yet to be set.
Toronto police say Bieber hit the driver over the back of the head after picking him and five other people up from a nightclub in the early hours of 30 December.
In January, the 20-year-old was arrested and charged for a separate incident in Florida for driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs.
A police officer pulled him over on suspicion of racing a hired yellow Lamborghini on a public street.
A urine sample taken from Mr Bieber after his arrest tested positive for marijuana and Xanax, a drug that treats anxiety and insomnia, Miami Beach police told US media on Thursday.
His home was also searched in January, after he was accused of causing thousands of dollars worth of damage to a neighbour's house by throwing eggs.
On Sunday the popstar was a surprise performer at Coachella, where he traded verses with Chance The Rapper on their single Confident.
Bieber hinted at appearance on Twitter writing "what am i up to today?? ;)" and followed the performance by posting "that was fun".
