Six missing in NYC building collapse

As many as six people are missing after an explosion sent flames tearing through a New York City building, police say.

The blast, the result of faulty utility work, caused three buildings to collapse and injured 19 people. Four are in a critical condition.

Around 200 fire fighters and medical staff have been working through the night to douse the remaining fire and assist the injured.

The fire may burn for days.
